Most care provided by the NHS is free of charge. However, some services fall outside NHS funding, and a fee may apply. These include, but are not limited to:
Medical reports for purposes other than your healthcare, such as private insurance claims.
Medical examinations for work or sports, such as HGV or diving medicals.
Travel vaccinations for conditions not covered by the UK vaccination programme. The cost of travel vaccines will depend on the price of the vaccine at the time it is ordered.
If you need a GP to prepare a report, sign a document (for example, a passport), or complete a form, please ask a member of Patient Services for our current list of fees in advance. You can post your document to the surgery or drop it in with plenty of notice. We will contact you by phone, text, or email when it is ready to collect.
For medical examinations, please contact our Patient Services team to arrange a convenient appointment.
Please note: Charges may vary depending on the work required, and all fees must be paid in advance.
